160g Oja! Dry Roasted Soya Beans

200g Bits-a-bacon

Water for soaking Beans

1.2L Water

Oil for frying

2 Heaped tablespoons Beef Stock

1 Onion

Salt and Pepper to taste


  1. Soak Oja! Soy Beans for 20 min in boiling water.
  2. Add Stock and 1.2L water to soaked soya beans & cook for 20 minutes in a pressure cooker.  Remove from heat and liquidize the soya beans into a pulp.
  3. Cut onions and fry in oil.   Add the bacon and let it cook through.
  4. Add the Soya pulp.  Stir through.  Add salt and pepper if needed.
  5. Serve with fresh baked bread and butter!
